Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office launched a new initiative aimed to connect with the youth to promote and improve healthy conflict resolution skills. So my Text Bae Of The Day Sheriff Mark Pettway has partnered with HoopFest 3 on 3 to host the Free inaugural “Sheriff Mark Pettway Community Tour. The Basketball tournament series started Saturday but will run all the way through August 5th.
Sheriff Pettway Stated and I quote: “It is important to provide our community with different ways to resolve conflict, support our younger generation, and provide them with safe places to enjoy themselves,”I’ve been looking to launch something like this for a while as a part of my “Bridging the Gap Between Law Enforcement and the Community” campaign and I’m excited to connect with some of the harder-to-reach community members to have fun and discuss conflict resolution.”
