Travis Scott tweeted about an upcoming livestream from the Egyptian pyramids to unveil his upcoming album, “Utopia” (the release date for Utopia has not yet been announced, but is expected soon).  The tweet read: “UTOPIA LIVE AT THE PYRAMIDS  CANT WAITTTT TO SEE YA. TICKETS http://Travisscott.com”. ‘Utopia’ will serve as the follow-up to Scott’s acclaimed 2018 LP ‘Astroworld’.

It was also just announced that Scott will not face charges following the deadly crowd surge at his Astroworld Music Festival in 2021. 10 people were killed by compressive asphyxiation during Scott’s headline performance on November 5 2021, and thousands were left injured when the over-capacity crowd surged towards the front of the stage. The victims’ ages ranged between nine and 27.

According to Scott’s website, the livestream event is set to take place on July 28. Tickets to the livestream and album packs (including vinyl) are available for pre-order – here.
