Today’s TBOTD, Text Bae Of The Day, Mrs. Dorthy Tuner has dedicated the last 15 years as a food service worker for Children’s of Alabama and has allowed her role to fuel her passion to serve others. Dorothey Tuner is known to go over and beyond to take care of patients, their families, and food service workers while fueling the other staff members from doctors to nurses at Children’s.
Working for Children’s of Alabama has given Dorthey a community, a family, that uplifts and cares for one another allowing her to find her calling. Dorthey stated and I quote:
“I hope to inspire others by being present for people when I am needed and called on, no matter what the cost, in a very positive way. I always believe the greatest gift we can give each other as mankind is to be present for one another in a very genuine way. You have to have a servant attitude in this job because we are here to serve the kids.”
