In honor of HBCU Awareness month, it’s only right to acknowledge 125 years Miles College has been Impactful to the magic city.

Today’s TBOTD, Text Bae Of The Day, Miles College, after being discovered by community leader Colored Methodist Episcopal ( C.M.E) saw the need for education leadership in the black community 1898 was the year Miles College would be established.

For the next 125 years students, faculty, and alumni of Miles College have committed themselves to civil engagement partaking in the civil rights movement, civic protest, and boycotts, which led to the SCLC Southern Christian Leadership Conference to bring their strategies to Birmingham. 125 years specifies the positive impact Mile College has made in the magic city and the state of Alabama. As Miles College is gearing up for Homecoming weekend starting today’s party with the purpose of celebrating Miles College’s continued legacy.
